Corporate Gift Cards

Perfect for your staff and customers

Are you looking for ways to provide incentives to your staff and customers? Whether it’s part of a staff incentive or rewards program, a promotional prize or just an end of quarter or financial year bonus, Gift Cards can be a great and very effective way to say thank you or well done.

Rewards Programs
If you are looking for a more structured rewards process to incentivise your staff and/or customers, Australia offers a broad range of incentive programs that you can choose from. There are several ‘off the shelf’ programs that you can simply sign-up to and use. Most enable you to manage the points allocated for different activities eg sales, repeat customers etc. Programs can also be customised based on your companies specific needs. Once points have been accumulated, they can then be redeemed for prizes, gift cards and even cash.

Key providers include:

Promotional Prizes
Lately, many retail stores have been offering gift cards or gift vouchers as a give away for spending above a certain amount in their store. What is great about this form of campaign is that your customers are instantly rewarded and can then redeem their prize when and how they wish for a prize they really like. By teaming up with a known brand eg MYER or Bunnings, the reward carries a greater value than just giving them a bonus T-Shirt (usually last season’s stock). As a company you are also able to develop a relationship with the Gift Card provider that may be beneficial in other ways.

Your Own Gift Cards
The great thing about Gift Cards and Vouchers is that it makes a very convenient gift for the buyer. How many times have you been stuck in MYERS or Country Road looking for the right shirt or perfume and even after you think you have found it you never can quite tell if they have even liked it. Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers, give the receiver of the gift the opportunity to spend the money the way they want to and on what they want to. They can also top-it up with some additional funds and buy a more expensive gift.

Some people see it as a bit of a cop-out, but personally, I would rather receive a Gift Card instead of a gift I don’t like and then have to return or worse still never use.

It’s pretty easy to develop your own gift card program that is secure from “fraud”. You simply need to sign-up with a known comany that developes these program and within weeks you could also be giving your customers a Gift Card of your own, rather than watching walk around your store and then walk out.
